As the first real Swiss DEEP PURPLE tribute band, SHADES OF PURPLE have been conquering concert venues in Switzerland and abroad since 2008. No matter on which stage the guys celebrate their sweat-inducing tribute set, they leave behind an enthusiastic and happy audience!
Just like the original, the driving five-piece from the greater Basel region features passionate musicians in the line-up, whose shows are musically very authentic to their great role model. This is because, in addition to their fantastic musicality, the band attaches great importance to using original instruments and amplifiers from the glorious era of the 60s and 70s. For example, the legendary, screaming Hammond B3 (this 200 kg piece is taken to every show without exception!), the Ludwig drum set in Silver Sparkling, Rickenbacker basses and of course the Fender Stratocaster Ritchie Blackmore Signature. It doesn't get more authentic than this!

Four young people, all professional musicians for years and admirers of the Count, his music and his lyrics, wanted what they had experienced so often live to be possible in the future too. They founded SCHEINHEILIG with great reverence for the original and love for the Count's work, and at the same time with the freedom to put their own stamp on his music.
All the great lyrics, all the great melodies, plus free goosebumps, wonderful memories, melancholy and simply a wonderful time. Just as they were: UNHEILIG, just as he was: the Count.
